The Weekend Guerilla (TWG) is an online blog that features lifestyle news from Singapore. Music, movies, food, you name it. Anything that will make your weekend that much better before you have to drag yourself to school/work on Monday. Nah, I kid, but they will liven up your weekend, I promise.
This blog was created for the the Internet Journalism subject (BCM 3005) of Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Communications and Media Management (CMM).

About The Guerilla
Ian Yap, 19, a third year CMM student. I chose the theme for TWG because I think Singaporeans take life a bit too seriously. I want to focus on things that will help people take their mind off their daily busy-ness. As the Mexicans say, Tranquilo (chill).
When I'm not writing articles for school, music (mostly guitar) is my main source of relaxation, after which come a cheap and good meal and maybe a funny movie, in absence of which, Family Guy works too. My ideal lazy weekend consists of sitting around with my guitar in hand, a margarita on the table and some Jack Johnson playing on the stereo.
